John, Braam, Charlene, Morne, Waldo, Rocky
Monday Morning~ we had the longest team meeting ever since I started working, a lot of hand-outs that needed to be signed. Our meeting ended around 10:10, I headed out to see John first, caught him as he was about to go down the escalator :) We cheek-kiss greeted and promised to come back to him later.
Met Braam at his new flat, tiled floors, black and white setting, pretty. Spent more than 2 hours with him, a bit bonding. Talked about abstinence, work, investments, and other non-essential topics.
Had a coffee/lunch appointment with Charlene, so I went to Maerua mall earlier, managed to say hi to Carol and David at NanoDog, looked at the pricing of the iPad, and I was like dayyyyyam~ lol, costs N$9440 for 64MB~ hmmm should I get it?
Went to Dulce, and waited for Charlene, got to chat with Ray Hardwicke on WhatsApp, funny chats about me visiting them, the dangers, body guards, escorts, distant family relation, etc :)
Called Rocky, he jst applied for his new SIM card, he asked where I was, and I said I was at Maerua, we laughed for a bit, and then hung up.
Charlene dropped by when I was half way cutting through my lunch, we talked about the holiday, about our x’s, about our trip next year, about them (as in John, Ralph and her) wanting to move out of the flat to somewhere bigger.
After seeing Charlene, I walked her back to her work place (Holz), and then walked downstairs, then Amy Chen called me, she was like, yeah, when we meeting up, oh and she showed my fb to one of her guy friends called Christiaan that apparently met me (whom I have no recollection of)… Then I see Morne, so I hang up with Amy. Morne and I hug, talk for a bit, and then Waldo (DJ’s x) walks by, we said hi as well, and I said goodbye. As I was walking away, Rocky calls. I pick up, and Rocky’s like “Hey what’s up”, I ask him where he is, and he’s in Maerua Mall as well, so we met up, he wanted to have lunch together but I had to get back to work. He walks me to the underground parking, and we’re joke talking, I give him his present I brought back from Taiwan, 5 golden letters, spelling his name. He’s like, he still has my present and hasn’t got to give it to me because whenever we meet up it’s quick quick. So I told him he should get two sets of the SAME present, and leave them in both his cars, so whichever one he sees me in, he’ll have it. We lol-ed, and then he gave me a peck on my lips before I left.
I got back to work, packed up my laptop, and left.
All in all, it has been a good day being able to see so many friends randomly :)
Oh and Francois called, stuck in the middle of nowhere, ran out of gas, so I we made small talk, he climbed on a hill to get better reception, though his better reception meant two blocks, his words were broken up in pieces and I had to try and figure out what he was saying. Hmmm I suppose he’s back home now :D
